Background: GERMIN is a non-governmental organization whose core principles and ideals are
\nbased on the belief that the Albanian Diaspora must play an extensive and proactive role in the
\npositive development of all countries in the Balkans where Albanians live.<\/p>\n
Through this call, we are looking for a Field Researcher, someone that has proven research and
\nanalytical skills. This position will have a duration of 14 days of work (05 September 2020 \u2013 19
\nSeptember 2020). The qualified candidates will conduct interviews with business
\nrepresentatives of specified sectors in Vushtrri as required through this call.<\/p>\n
Invest in Vushtrri is an investment forum in cooperation with the Municipality of Vushtrri which
\naims to generate income and new job opportunities through new business initiatives and
\nattraction of foreign investment for big projects in this municipality.<\/p>\n
Tasks and Responsibilities: The Field Researcher will be working directly on the following
\nactivities throughout his\/her tenure at Germin:
\n\u25cf Identification of 15 businesses in the Agriculture sector;
\n\u25cf Identification of 15 businesses in the sector of Food Production and Processing;
\n\u25cf Identification of 15 businesses in the Wood Industry;
\n\u25cf Identification of 15 businesses in the Trade and Services sector;
\n\u25cf Conduct 60 semi-structured interviews\/questionnaires with each identified business of
\nthe particular sector.
\nQualifications and experience sought:
\n\u25cf University degree in socio-economic sciences;
\n\u25cf Effective writing and communication skills in Albanian are required (English is an
\nadvantage);
\n\u25cf Work experience as a researcher for at least 2 years.<\/p>\n
