{"id":6422,"date":"2021-11-30T11:10:09","date_gmt":"2021-11-30T11:10:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/germin.org\/?p=6422"},"modified":"2021-11-30T11:10:09","modified_gmt":"2021-11-30T11:10:09","slug":"germin-has-an-opening-for-a-finance-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/germin.org\/sq\/germin-has-an-opening-for-a-finance-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"GERMIN has an opening for a Finance Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Finance Manager\u2019s responsibilities and duties: The Financial Manager will be working directly in the following activities throughout his\/her tenure at GERMIN:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, project schedules, budgets, cash flow, and expenditures related to GERMIN;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Anticipate financial bottlenecks through sound financial management NGOs needs;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting, planning process, and reporting and comparison of actual to planned budgets and expenses;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Perform deep analysis to develop recommendations and impact the financial management decision making;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Manage and coordinate monthly reporting, budgeting and forecast processes based on projects;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Provide back-office services such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Reconcile daily, monthly and yearly transactions; and reporting these on a monthly basis;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Identify&nbsp; auditors to carry out year-end financial audits, and making sure that auditors have all of the information required for a complete audit<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To perform other duties as assigned by the head of organization.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For these portions of work, the employee will report to the Germin Co-Executive Directors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Job Prerequisites:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis roles (preferably in non-government and non-profit organizations);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Analytical and problem-solving skills;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Exceptional verbal and written skills in both English and Albanian;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Competency in QuickBooks and other financial management software;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Competency in Google applications including Google Docs, Google Sheets;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Knowledge of file management, and other administrative procedures;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ability to work full-time and on tight deadlines;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ability to work independently with minimal oversight;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Team-worker, communicative and with strong interpersonal skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please submit your CV and letter of interest by December 10, 2021, to vacancies@germin.org with the <\/span>subject<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> titled &#8220;Finance <\/span>Manager&#8221;.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Finance Manager\u2019s responsibilities and duties: The Financial Manager will be working directly in the following activities throughout his\/her tenure at GERMIN: Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, project schedules, budgets, cash flow, and expenditures related to GERMIN;
