{"id":6425,"date":"2021-11-30T11:11:45","date_gmt":"2021-11-30T11:11:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/germin.org\/?p=6425"},"modified":"2021-11-30T11:11:45","modified_gmt":"2021-11-30T11:11:45","slug":"germin-has-an-opening-for-a-communications-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/germin.org\/sq\/germin-has-an-opening-for-a-communications-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"GERMIN has an opening for a Communications Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Communications Officer\u2019s responsibilities and duties: The Communication Officer will be working directly in the following activities throughout his\/her tenure at GERMIN:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Develop, write and edit communications materials, including press releases, blog posts, invitations, and social media content;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Manage on daily basis all social media channels like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Contribute to the communications and marketing planning across the whole organisation;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assists in the development and management of various campaigns launched by the organization;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Contributes to the continuous measurement, evaluation and impact of organization&#8217;s Public Relations (PR) and social media activity;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Write and distribute newsletters on a monthly basis for the organization and ongoing work;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Performs all other related duties as required.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Job Prerequisites:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bachelor\u2019s degree in Communications, Journalism or related areas;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Exceptional verbal and written skills in both English and Albanian;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2+ years prior experience in a communications role;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Advanced computer skills (Google Work Package and Microsoft Office);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Understand the best practices and develop social media campaigns for the purposes of the organization\u2019s goals and objectives;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Team-worker, communicative and with strong interpersonal skills;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Knowledge of any of the following softwares is a plus: Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, Canva and Illustrator;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please submit your CV and letter of interest by December 10, 2021, to vacancies@germin.org with <\/span>subject<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> titled &#8220;<\/span>Communications Officer&#8221;.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Communications Officer\u2019s responsibilities and duties: The Communication Officer will be working directly in the following activities throughout his\/her tenure at GERMIN: Develop, write and edit communications materials, including press releases, blog posts, invitations, and social media content; Manage on daily basis all social media channels like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.; Contribute to the communications [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":6444,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[109],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-6425","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-jobs"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
