GERMIN has an opening for a Communications Officer

Communications Officer’s responsibilities and duties: The Communication Officer will be working directly in the following activities throughout his/her tenure at GERMIN:
- Develop, write and edit communications materials, including press releases, blog posts, invitations, and social media content;
- Manage on daily basis all social media channels like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.;
- Contribute to the communications and marketing planning across the whole organisation;
- Assists in the development and management of various campaigns launched by the organization;
- Contributes to the continuous measurement, evaluation and impact of organization’s Public Relations (PR) and social media activity;
- Write and distribute newsletters on a monthly basis for the organization and ongoing work;
- Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos;
- Performs all other related duties as required.
Job Prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related areas;
- Exceptional verbal and written skills in both English and Albanian;
- 2+ years prior experience in a communications role;
- Advanced computer skills (Google Work Package and Microsoft Office);
- Understand the best practices and develop social media campaigns for the purposes of the organization’s goals and objectives;
- Team-worker, communicative and with strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines;
- Knowledge of any of the following softwares is a plus: Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, Canva and Illustrator;
