We are pleased to inform you that the application deadline for Diaspora Engagement Expert has been extended until December 17, 2023, 23:59 (CET).

GERMIN is implementing the project “Engaging Diaspora for the Advancement of Politics in Kosovo” with the support of Smart Balkans. The primary goal of this project is to improve the policy-making processes in Kosovo through optimizing the diaspora’s contributions. One of the planned activities is the engagement of experts for the engagement of the diaspora to improve the capacity of the policy-making institutions in Kosovo to create and implement effective policies in the function of the citizens.

The Expert for Diaspora Engagement will provide valuable insight and guidance throughout all phases of project implementation, ensuring that the project effectively engages the Diaspora community and addresses their needs and interests.

GERMIN calls on all interested individuals to submit their proposals for expression of interest as an expert for diaspora engagement.

This call was developed with the support of the “SMART Balkans – Civil Society for Shared Society in the Western Balkans” regional project implemented by the Centar za promociju civilnog društva (CPCD), Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) and Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) and financially supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA). Job Prerequisites Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field (Master's is a plus).Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Albanian.5+ years of experience in communications.2+ years of experience in communications roles within Civil Society organizations.Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.Ability to develop and implement effective social media campaigns aligned with organizational objectives.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and Illustrator is an advantage.
