GERMIN organization opens a vacancy for 1 Policy Analyst and Researcher part-time, who will be able to engage in GERMIN offices.
The main tasks and responsibilities of the Policy Analyst and Researcher will be:
Research and analysis of various policies
Compiling and conducting qualitative and quantitative research
Assistance in writing project proposals
Review of reports and analyzes prepared by the rest of the staff;
Contributes to various project activities
Other tasks delegated as needed by supervisors
The criteria for the Policy Analyst and Researcher are:
Studies in the fields of social sciences
A very good writing skills in Albanian and English,
Ability to work in groups and within certain deadlines
For these tasks and responsibilities, Policy Analyst and Researcher will report to the Projects Manager or Co-Executive Directors of GERMIN.

Responsibilities
The Communications Officer will execute a range of communication and marketing tasks, including but not limited to:
Content Creation: Develop, write, and edit high-quality communications materials such as press releases, blog posts, event summaries, invitations, and social media content.Social Media Management: Oversee and manage GERMIN's social media channels, ensuring engaging and consistent content.Strategic Planning: Contribute to the improvement of organization-wide communication and marketing strategies, aligning them with GERMIN's vision and mission.Campaign Development: Assist in creating and managing communication campaigns, including fundraising and awareness initiatives, with a focus on creativity and impact.Newsletter Management: Write monthly newsletters highlighting GERMIN's ongoing projects and achievements.Creative Content for GAF: Create engaging content to support the Global Albanians Foundation (GAF) fundraising efforts and campaigns.Brand Enhancement: Provide innovative ideas to enhance the presentation of GERMIN, GAF, and the OriginAL program.Measurement and Evaluation: Track insights and KPIs for communications and social media content to analyze their impact and effectiveness.Digital Archives: Maintain digital media archives, including photos and videos, to support communication efforts.Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as needed, contributing to the organization's overall success.
Reporting
The Communications Officer will report to GERMIN's Co-Executive Directors and the Chair of the Global Albanians Foundation (GAF).
Job Prerequisites
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field (Master's is a plus).Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Albanian.5+ years of experience in communications.2+ years of experience in communications roles within Civil Society organizations.Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.Ability to develop and implement effective social media campaigns aligned with organizational objectives.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and Illustrator is an advantage.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Finance Manager:
Work closely with the Executive Director and Project Manager to ensure effective daily financial management of projects and activities.Develop and manage the organization's annual budget, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.Prepare detailed financial reports for relevant projects, including income and expense statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Provide regular financial updates to the organization’s management team and board of directors.Declare and process all payments and tax obligations, including salaries and compensations for all GERMIN staff.Prepare and participate in annual audits, ensuring that the organization complies with all regulations and financial requirements.Monitor compliance with donor requirements, ensuring that all bids and deadlines are met.As specified in contracts and agreements, provide regular updates and reports to donors and partners.Ensure that all operational activities are conducted according to GERMIN's organizational policies, financial regulations, and, where applicable, donor regulations.Ensure the implementation of administrative and procurement procedures according to ISO 9001:2000 standards.Maintain important organizational documents.
Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management, Accounting, International Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred.A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in financial management is required. Experience managing the financial aspects of international projects or programs funded by international organizations is preferred.Expert-level skills in QuickBooks.Experience analyzing budget trends, monitoring funding levels across multiple accounts, and providing detailed financial analysis.Professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial issues.Advanced knowledge of administrative processes and human resource management is preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Good organizational and teamwork skills.

This call is carried out within the project: "Diaspora in support of Albanian women entrepreneurs".
This project seeks to connect women entrepreneurs in Albania with Albanian diaspora professionals to foster growth through mentorship and coaching.
It is designed to address systemic challenges faced by women-owned start-ups in the field (and subfields) of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in accessing resources, support, and networking opportunities for market penetration and business development.
