Position: Graphic Design Internship

Background: GERMIN is a non-governmental organization whose core principles and ideals are based on the belief that the Albanian Diaspora must play an extensive and proactive role in the positive development of all countries in the Balkans where Albanians live.

Graphic Designer’s responsibilities and duties:

The Graphic Designer will be working directly in the following activities throughout his/her tenure at GERMIN:

• Receive, track, and implement all design summaries in accordance with the organization;
• Coordination of all work with the GERMIN team for the Design materials of the organization;
• Designing electronic and collateral invitations related to events;
• Design and create presentations in PowerPoint and other related formats;
• Ensure that the GERMIN brand is always executed consistently in all areas of work;
• Submission of work, all final concepts and projects to the Heads of the organization and the team;
• Continuous production of excellent visual work;
• Encourage others to share their ideas and create creativity;

The Graphic Designer will assist in the management and creation of appropriate GERMIN and GAF ​​projects in the US, Kosovo and Albania. The Graphic Designer should skillfully manage both organizations regarding visualization.

For these parts of the job, the employee will report to the Executive Directors of GERMIN.

Qualifications for practical work:

• • Be in the final year of their studies: in Graphic Design or relevant education
  • Experience working in a non-profit environment,
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A thorough and fluent knowledge of current design tools and software
  • Confidence to be brave with their work
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • A background of working well as part of a design team
  • Ability to think creatively and deliver impressive concepts
  • Good knowledge of English language
