GERMIN dhe Global Albanians Foundation are working together to establish the “Global Albanian Health Professionals COVID-19 Response Team” — a collaborative network of Albanians working in health care, public health and research and involved in the fight against COVID in all corners of the world.  

We invite all Albanian professionals working in the health sector to participate in this 10 minute survey to create a Global Albanians COVID-19 Response Team Network that will provide a concrete opportunity for strengthening the joint COVID response and will contribute to the ongoing response efforts led by the Ministries of Health of Albania and Kosovo.

Germin and the GAF would like to emphasize that this survey is not intended to be exclusive to the Albanian Diaspora.  We strongly encourage participation from those of you who live and work in Albania, Kosova, Northern Macedonia, and Montenegro to participate and be part of this initiative.  We need to build a strong global network since this is the only way to improve cooperation and collaboration for our collective success. 

We have these main objectives:

• Krijimi i një Rrjeti Global të Profesionistëve Shqiptar të Shëndetësisë, Profesionistëve të Shëndetit Publik, Studiuesve dhe të tjerëve që punojnë në sektorin e kujdesit shëndetësor i cili mund të zhvillojë dhe të kontribuojë ide për rekomandime të politikave dhe masave për të adresuar shpërthimin e COVID-19 në Shqipëri, Kosovë dhe Maqedoninë Veriore
• Zhvilloni marrëdhënie bashkëpunimi midis Profesionistëve të Diasporës Shqiptare dhe organizatave publike, private, jofitimprurëse dhe ndërkombëtare në Shqipëri, Kosovë dhe Maqedoninë Veriore.
• Organizimi i takimeve në internet dhe paneleve të diskutimeve, ku Profesionistët e Shëndetit dhe Shëndetit Publik Shqiptar, Studiuesit dhe të tjerët që punojnë në sektorin e kujdesit shëndetësor mund të bashkohen për të diskutuar çështje në lidhje me përgjigjen e COVID-19.
• Zhvillimi një platforme të moderuar në internet për të siguruar burime për përgjigje ndaj pandemisë COVID-19 dhe për të shkëmbyer informacione dhe përvoja nga e gjithë bota për të ndihmuar në zhvillimin e kapaciteteve dhe vlerësimin kritik të politikave dhe ndërhyrjeve në vendet tona amë.
• Përgatitja e një dokument pozicioni mbi reagimin pandemik në Kosovë dhe Shqipëri duke marrë parasysh provat e fundit dhe faktorët kontekstualë.
